I LOVED my experience at this lovely theatre. We purchased a charcuterie box to munch on prior to the show, which had ample snacks. Plenty of porti-potties, including one or two that were "wheelchair accessible". The stage area was well thought out, and the entire space was well used. I LOVE the idea of being "en plein air". I enjoyed seeing the actresses utilizing an actual wagon (one that would have be pulled behind a horse) as part of the play. We saw "The Farmerettes". It was well written and performed. The actresses did a superb job in each of their roles (several ladies played more than one role). The band did a great job with the music, but I feel that they could have been placed in a better location than under the staircase to the side. It lead to the performers and musicians losing each other a couple of times, but they were able to recover and continue on, which is commendable. I look forward to returning in the future!!

Down a winding dirt road in the backcountry of Cavan/Millbrook, is this monster of a outdoor theatre on the Winslow Farm. Complete with concession stand, outhouses, picnic tables, and grandstands for your viewing pleasure. We watched the halloween show recently and it was spectacular. This is a very professional theatre and a local gem. Anyone looking for something to do in the Kawartha's should strongly consider checking out a show at this stunning site to see. The staff are friendly and very willing to help. During COVID-19 this is a safe way to still enjoy theatre in a safe manner. Congrats to such a wonderful group of talented people.

The setting and use of space, amazing cast and direction, inspired music, local food - it's always an adventure through time with inclusive stories that matter. I laughed and wept and 2-weeks later I'm still thinking about their commitment to telling the stories we may be familiar with as well as things that may have been left out of the history books.

A unique experience. Open air theatre , an enthusiastic and skilled crew. Every time I attend their plays I watch a good play and I learn a few new things about Canada’s history.

Everything about this outdoor theatre is delightful! We saw the heartwarming play, the Farmerettes. It was excellent and the barnyard setting was the perfect ‘set’ for this untold history of summer for many young women during WWll. We arrived early and had a picnic dinner, although yummy food is available to purchase as well as a bar to purchase wine, beer or softdrinks. The entire place is run so well and we met lots of staff who were all excellent in providing service and answering any questions. Well worth the drive to beautiful Millbrook.

What an amazing experience! This not only is a lovely outdoor setting but almost no bugs. I literally saw one fly and zero mosquitoes. The actors did an amazing job as did the musicians and technical staff. The play was a delight . I highly recommend treating yourself to an evening at the 4th Line Theatre.
