This is a very unique facility for firearms enthusiasts and competitive shooters. There is nothing else like it in the U.S. Monthly 3gun, 2gun matches are held here. Sign up for a match or class when you are in the DFW area. All the matches are very well designed and fun.

Went to this range since I have saw videos of it on YouTube from gun guys. Showed up on a Tuesday afternoon, had the whole place by ourselves. Great experience for the price. It is muddy if there has been rain so bring extra shoes. Excellent staff.

I read the reviews before coming like I always do. I call before I visit and Lynn the owner is very nice. I arrived with my family and he show me around, at first I was only coming for a day pass but ended up getting a membership seen all the potential that this place has. I didn’t get to do the steel targets but I think I only saw 1-2 bays it would be nice if they had more in case it gets busy I’m sure steel targets are most popular . Either way this was my first time but not the last. Great place , thanks Lynn looking forward on upcoming visits .

I did their “2 gun” run today and it was an incredibly unique shooting experience. The scenarios were unlike any “match” I’ve ever attended and some of the best training I’ve received. The patrons were enjoyable to shoot with and the range is awesome with a very unique set up. I fully plan to attend their monthly matches. It was a fun (and humbling) experience where I got to test out my kit, shoot on the move, and learn to deal with stress/decision making while firing in a safe and controlled environment.

The facility boasts an excellent atmosphere and numerous shooting bays. The owner and staff are highly professional and collaborative. I wholeheartedly recommend Texas Defensive Shooting Range.

Have done the day pass a couple of weekends in a row and it’s been great. Good choice of steel and rifle bays, I’ve had no problem shooting on it when I’ve been there but I hear it can be crowded. Price for what you can do is great and they leave you alone as long as you follow the rules. Wish they offered monthly payments on membership but that’s my only complaint

I took my 17 & 18 year old boys for the first time to the TDSA range and loved every minute of the experience. Taught the gun safety just like my old man taught me. Lynn the Owner was the most down to earth person you can deal with. Gave us the rules and instructions on how the range works. This range tops allot of the DFW ranges hands down. It is advised that if you are not a member to call ahead for availability. Bring Insect repellent and sun screen if you do get a green light to come down.
