Beautiful work, very fair pricing, great communication, honest, and did I say beautiful work! I've had some bad experiences elsewhere with both shoddy work and dishonest practice; but Barry was a breath of fresh air, and the only one I'll send my prized posessions to for refinishing from here on out. Deal with in confidence! I know I will!

Had an old rifle drilled and tapped to mount an also-old scope. Patience is key, as the work toon nearly a year before I got the rifle back. The work was well worth the wait, fantastic job.

Not the spot to go if you're in any rush, but if you can wait the work is certsinly worth it

Barry is one of the only guys that I can talk to, exchange no money or services, and still feel as if I was served. It's telling when a store owner actually convinces you to not purchase something when doing so would not be in your best interests.

All-around, he is a fantastic guy to deal with, and I would look to him first if I ever did need anything done.

Barry is awesome! I had an issue with my CZ Shadow 2 that caused the slide to get stuck. Everybody I called didn't have the time to look at it. Eventhough Barry was fully booked he was kind enough to let me come by. He had the slide working in about 10 seconds! So thankful! Great guy, great conversation! I will be back!

I recently called the owner and asked him if he'd be able to give me a second opinion on a problem I was having with my shotgun. I couldn't give him much notice because I had a ferry to catch but he told me to come on over. He checked out my gun and even fired some rounds through it to see how it cycled and then told me exactly what I needed to get fixed. When I asked him what I owed him he told me not to worry about it. He seems like a very competent gunsmith and a very nice guy.

Fantastic service!

I live about an hour and a half away from Barry’s shop in Delta. I called him up on a whim looking for a few 10/22 parts and to get help with what I though was a hopelessly stuck screw in an AYA SXS.

Barry was accommodating and able to help me on the spot where the few other smiths I contacted required me to drop off my firearm, and stated anywhere from 2-6 weeks before they would look at it. He put a lot of effort in to that stuck screw and we both sighed with relief when it broke free.

I picked up a Kickeez recoil while I was there and expressed I wished to do the job myself. Barry took the time to explain his best practise for installing recoil pads and told me how to best overcome the curved nature of my stock as well as showed me a shop made jig of his.

I will deal with Barry again, not a matter of if but when. Cozy little shop and great conversation to be had.
