I attended their open house and was NOT impressed. I walked in and started to view the facilities. It was obvious that I was interested in their facility, but nobody approached me. There were many club members available to do as such, but it did not happen. Interesting notation...when I popped in to the Beacon Hill Lawn Bowling facility, it was quite the opposite. I am from Edmonton, my husband and I are quite knowledgeable about lawn bowling, and are serious about locating to Victoria and close to a lawn bowling facility. Oak Bay it will not be.

I joined the club in 2015...it's not just for retirees! Great group of people, lots of game times available, social night every Friday in the summer (guests welcome to come learn and play)...and the club has a liquor license (and people to serve drinks).
Highly recommend the club to anyone looking to learn more about the sport.
