Nous sommes venus lors du Freedom Shoot ce dimanche 8 septembre.
La visite du musée est intéressante, même si on n'entend ni ne voit pas grand chose aux explications quand on est au fond. Visite en anglais exclusivement, of course.

Ensuite on a passé un bon moment sur le pas de tir où les exposants nous ont permis de tirer avec leurs armes de démonstration. Il y avait aussi un pas de tir pour mitrailleuse, pour un tarif lui aussi americain.

Bref je recommande pour les touristes de passage dans la région, surtout ceux qui n'ont pas forcément accès à ces armes dans leur pays macrono-liberticide.

Très très déçus, nous suivions depuis plusieurs mois le dragon sur Facebook, en attendant impatiemment notre voyage.
Comme chaque année nous aimons venir tirer dans un stand lors de notre voyage aux USA, avec des armes auxquelles nous n'aurons jamais accès.
L'entrée marquait bien ce que nous avions vu! Du pur délire !
Malheureusement au niveau location d'armes = rien d'intéressant, aucun full auto comme sur les vidéos, accueil froid, aucun effort pour la compréhension. Les super véhicules ne sont même pas visibles.
N'aime pas les touristes donc ne venez pas les déranger. C'est plus un club.

First off, Dragonman is a legend. The military museum and oldies but goodies tour was magnificent. I have visited military museums all over the world and this is the BEST museum stacked floor to ceiling with artifacts. Dragonman and his staff are entertaining, gracious, and most welcoming to everyone. Fantastic experience.

Absolutely enjoyed the tour. Dragonman has a wealth of knowledge and items from the wars..ww1..ww2...Vietnam...pearl harbor...it's amazing the things they keep out of the history books. I am honored to have met him and have an opportunity to tour his facility.

I have never seen a Military Museum that comes close to this one!!
This is a privately owned Museum which has most of the Wars represented starting with the Civil War.
Each section represents a particular war with
Manikins dressed in original uniforms, original firearms with the original ammunition along with all the paraphernalia. Not just showing the US side but also the the soldiers and equipment that were fought against!!
This Museum also has the trucks, Mash units, Half tracks, jeeps, Tank and so much more to see.
Just when you think you're at the end of the tour there's more rooms full of antiques from the 1940's & 1950's. Old gas station pumps, signs and if you liked Elvis, you'll enjoy seeing this section.
There's also a gun store when you first walk in that is well stocked. They had guns that I've never seen before but I'm not a gun expert by a long shot.
They also have a shooting range, dirt bike track and probably some other things that I forgot.

The only way you can go through the museum is with a tour. They don't want people just walking around in the museum on their own which after going on the tour myself I can certainly understand. Your safety is their number one goal !!!
Please look them up and get their tour schedule or if you don't want to see the museum they have the gun shop and other things available.

Our family finally made it to Colorado to visit Dragonmans and take the museum tour. Without a doubt, it is the most complete display of artifacts from every conflict the US has ever been in. Mel is an awesome docent and provides history lessons that many don’t know. You are guaranteed to learn something! If you are anywhere near Colorado Springs I highly recommend stopping by!

The trip to Dragonman’s was honestly the coolest thing I’ve done on my trip to Colorado Springs! My girlfriend and I took his museum tour and haven’t been able to stop talking about it and telling people / sharing photos and videos from the experience. It was mind blowing and incredible the amount of attention and thought that has been put into creating such a space to share with people. Mel aka Dragonman was there as soon as we walked in the door and welcomed us right away like we were regulars! His spot is a must visit location especially with all the history that took place on the tour. My girlfriend and I left feeling like we learned more history than we ever did from school and TV! Melissa was also super cool just like Dragonman and gave us some really cool pointers on spots to check out while we are in Colorado.
Overall, this experience was everything I could’ve wished for and better. We found Dragonman on YouTube and made a whole trip to Colorado Springs to visit his museum. We’ve had a great time in Colorado so far, but the trip to Dragonman’s has been the cherry on top! Thank you to all the staff, Mel & Melissa for such a great time! Keep doing your thing and never stop doing the great things you do!

Amazing shooting range, educated and helpful staff, priced very well, they have sales/rentals and accessories. Dirtbike track, paintball, and gun range I mean did I stumble into a part of heaven!! Thanks for the great experience, a highly recommended spot as far as I'm concerned..
