I recently attended an air-rifle shooting course at West Edinburgh Shooting School, and it was a fantastic experience! Mark was an excellent instructor, providing clear guidance and support throughout the session. Even in the toughest conditions (it was so windy!) he guided me to hit the targets successfully. His expertise and encouragement made all the difference. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their shooting skills. I'll definitely be back!

We decided to try out Clay pigeon shooting and axe throwing while visiting Edinburgh this summer. We are a family with young teens and had zero shooting / hunting experience.

Mark is a great teacher. He was super patient and spot-on with his instructions. He put all of us at ease and ensured we learned the basics appropriately while having a good time. We were grateful to have him as our instructor.

We had a wonderful day! Our kids said this was one of the most memorable activity they tried on vacation. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

This was my first time in 40 years shooting air rifles and it was great. Mark the instructor was fantastic with everything from how to set up to how to shoot in 50 mph cross wind which it was blowing . I would highly recommend it and I will be back soon hopefully not when it’s so windy.

Had the absolute pleasure of Tom and Mark's company and tuition for my stag in june 18.

I've been clay shooting before but never had the level of teaching these guys offer, they are head and shoulders above anywhere else I've ever been.

These two instructors are at the top of their game and didn't just give us a gun and watch, they taught us how to shoot the best way possible. Thay had us smashing clays within our first few shots and got the best out of all of us. 11 of us went and everyone of our group said it was by far the best bit of our 3 day stag tour of Scotland. We'd all love to come back again.

some of our group were pretty uninterested in shooting until we went there but we all hugely enjoyed it. If you are thinking of going shooting or looking for an event for a stag or group then I would strongly recommend you check these proper professionals out. they wernt anymore expensive than anywhere else and really made the weekend for us.

Mark was a fantastic host, organiser and instructor for our day of shooting. Despite the weather, Mark was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Mark made my girlfriend (who is inexperienced with shooting) feel very comfortable due to his expert guidance and instruction. We both thoroughly enjoyed the day and would definitely recommend Mark and West Edinburgh Shooting school for any future events. Also, a special thank you to Mark's partner who bought us lovely soup in the snowy weather - we really appreciated it!
