Great place. Went in for an inspection, new tires and alignment. Ralph and the tec pete I believe is his name, are definitely AAA type people called to inform me there was a few things wrong with the car and worked with me to get it all done in next to no time. If your looking for fast reliable services definitely visit this shop

I went to get a plug in my winter tire and change over to summers. The dealer told me I needed an alignment. So i asked freds to do it. John at freds took me into the back and showed me that I didn't need an alignment. They could had easily charged me over $100 for it and they didn't. That's why my family has dealt with freds tire for over 30 years

Like the place. They don't overcharge.
Recently I've came for winter tire change and tire alignment. Alignment machine showed alignment is perfect and I was not charged for it!
Also this place has good prices for tires: I've bought 2 set of tires (winter and all-season) for my Prius -V here.

I dropped in just for a quote on winter tires. The price was very good, I asked when I could book an appointment. They had time available. Was completed in an hour.
The next day one tire was low,I took it in They looked at it right away. The problem was a leaking valve.It was corrected in 30 minutes, no charge. Very happy with the service!

Went in for a booked appointment. Told it would be 2 hours to swap wheels already on rims. Next, when they kept asking for my “keys” (the car is a Tesla) I politely inquired about their experience with Teslas. Another front desk staff member, very sarcastically, “No, it’s our first one”. When I became offended by this remark, he said “I’m offended that you asked the question”. This ended my appointment with Fred’s Tire and I found a better, more polite tire shop in town (Quick Lane)…less expensive, polite and efficient (30 minutes for the swap).
I would avoid Fred’s tires. Much better options in town. Good luck.

Can't thank Ralph and the boys at Active Green and Ross for going above and beyond! My daughters VW had rusted bolts so bad that it was almost impossible to get off. Even Ralph was skeptical. However as always they came through and got the job done and now my daughter will be safe with her winter tires on and completely new bolts properly set.
