This place is a great little lookout spot with benches and a picnic table.
There is a map that actually shows you the neighboring mountains nearby and their names which is very fun to look at.

There is also a beautiful handcarved totem pole created by a person named Joe David. There is a plaque that tells you more about the totem pole and when it was gifted to Tofino on the site.

On the site they also other different significant items like an Anchor that was part of a ship called the Lord Western.
And a Capstan from the SS Barnard Castle, a coal ship from 1878.

Historical information

This čiinul (totem pole) has been carved by Tla-kish-
wha-toa in honour of the Aa?uukwiath (Tla-o-qui-aht)
Ha'wiih (Hereditary Chiefs).
Joe David carved and gifted this činut (totem pole)
to the community of Tofino on September 7, 2018.
The figure at the top of the čiinut is the thunderbird
with lightning snake wings and a sun on its stomach
Below is a humpback whale with an enlarged
blowhole featuring a face. The bottom figure is that of
a four year old girl.
The main figures are crests of the Aa?uukwiath
Ha'wiih. The thunderbird is lifting the whale out of the
ocean, and these figures represent the Ha'wiih of the
past. The blowhole face represents the living Ha'wih
of the present and the child at the base represents the
future generations to come

Es gibt hier einen alten Schiffsanker und einen Totempole zu besichtigen. Außerdem hat man von hier einen Panoramablick auf Meates Island und die umgebenden Inseln und Berge nahe Tofino. Es gibt verschiedene Sitzbänke und auch Mülleimer. In den Sommermonaten ist der Platz ein beliebter Touristenmagnet. Mit etwas Glück kann man von hier auch Seeotter oder Orcas sehen wenn sie gelegentlich durch die Hafengewässer schwimmen. Man kann hier super picknicken oder auch Gerichte der umliegenden Restaurants verspeisen wenn keine Plätze in den Restaurant frei sind.
