I had a great experience at the BC Firearms Academy in Surrey. The instructor, Eric, is super engaging and very informative. I took my Non-Restricted and Restricted tests over a 2 day course. Eric's focus of the curriculum was transparent and directly related to all the question. The practical application was also very fun. You get to learn how to handle firearms as safely and carefully as possible. You can see Eric's passion for firearms and his expertise, making the experience seemless. The 2 days passed by in a flash, not having a moment be too dry or boring.

I have never handled firearms or knew much about them, but within these 2 days, it has been very eye opening and enriching! I would highly recommend this for those who are inexperienced and experienced in firearms. Even if you are skeptical with firearms, it is a great course to see how thorough processes are and the importance of safety for firearm.

The two day PAL & CORE course was amazing. While you can challenge the CORE exam, I highly recommend doing the course as having the ability to ask questions and discuss in class was very valuable. Eric the instructor is clearly very passionate about the topics as he maintains the same high energy and enthusiasm for 8 hours straight!
