The last few years I have questioned if I wanted to continue using big-o as my go to tire shop. Due to some of the shoddy quality control they’ve let off of their lift. Such as missing valve stem caps, grease all over the wheels, grease smudges on the doors and steering wheel, and loose hub caps, and not knowing how to properly load tires in the bed of your truck. Missing the small details. After today I have made up mind as I will never walk through their doors again. While putting on my TPMS sensors on my winter setup they managed to scratch 3 out of the 4 rims on my truck. And all I could get was a “sorry, next in line type of response” not to mention 3 of the 4 of my other tires and rims I had taken off were stood straight up in the bed of my truck, I had to lay them on there side so they didn’t fly out and cause a serious accident or shatter my back window. This Sandy location in particular has gone down hill ever since the end of 2022…

In August of 2022 I had this shop do some work on my truck. I paid $2300+ to have both front wheel bearings replaced with what I was told would be factory parts. The invoice shows the factory part number. Two years and 24,000 miles later both are shot. I pull everything apart and find made in Korea aftermarket garbage with blown seals. To make things even worse, whoever did the work broke the spindle threads off on the driver’s side. When I pulled the dust cap I found the broken spindle but no threads or nut, so whoever did the job broke it off, then capped it. So on top of replacing the junk Big O installed I got to shell out an additional $200 to replace the driver’s side front axle.

You installed parts that meet OEM specs? That wear out in less than 25,000 miles / 2 years time? Suuuure you do. Not only were the parts installed junk, you charged me $372 each, when OEM parts can be bought cheaper than that today, after two years of Bidenomics has made everything more expensive.

I understand the 12 month warranty and was aware of it at the time the service was provided, but was not concerned then as I was told OEM parts were going to be used and trusted your word.

Nobody but your shop touched my truck prior to me fixing your shoddy work and junk parts.

I know I will not get anything back from you, my hope is that I can spare others the frustration of getting screwed over by your “service”

I have been a customer at this shop for a few years now but you guys seem to miss the ball a lot these days with screwing up my friends vehicle, as well as failing to mention I should replace my rotors and pads 2 weeks ago when I had my oil changed and tires rotated. I am at another location getting this resolve but I look forward to a call from your manger to explain this half ass work and no warning. I will never be returning to your location and highly discourage anyone trusting this shop with their vehicle.

This location is the best! Much much better experience than other tire shops! Skyler helped me. It was a breath of fresh air to talk to someone that was completely professional and friendly. Quick and easy service to get new tires. They didn’t upsell me. They gave me what I wanted and suggested other things that could help. If I didn’t want it, they happily moved on. 5 star customer service! And free pizza for a year!!!

No complaints here! Got my tires about 7 years ago from this same location, never had a problem, stopped by today to get them replaced due to age. No pressure or upsales, just good honest business here. Was told to expect about 90 minutes and that's exactly what it took for new tires and re-alignment. Thanks!

I’ve been here 2 times now.. first was just for an alignment. They kept my truck all day when I came to see how much longer they said they couldn’t do it unless I replaced all these parts.. so I took it to someone else for the alignment and they did it no problem! I came back another day to have a tire mounted on my spare tire.. very special rims to me as they were my grandfathers. I was short on money and told them I’d have the money on my pay day. They said they can’t hold tires and they were going to throw the rim away rather than waiting for me to come pay for the tire. I will never be back to this location. Upcharge those parts guys! Really nice to know you take such good care of your customers.

Went to Ken Garff Chevy service dept. they just read off the codes and gave me a quote for 4K plus. I had not Idea what the hell they were even talking about.
Went to Big O in Sandy and they explained each code quickly and we discussed them and made decisions that would be for me and my budget. They also knocked off a little from cost to help and the work was done same day I showed up. I really appreciate them and there Honesty and service.
