Darksword Armory did a phenomenal job on my 14th century hand-and-a-half sword. The quality is exceptional, everything down to the blade geometry, thickness, needle-like point, and no rattling whatsoever. I received mine sharpened and it had no problem cutting through thick plastic containers and heavy-duty cardboard. While I have not conducted a serious stress test or tried cutting into heavier material (wood, chainmail, etc.), there is no doubt this sword could stand up to some serious abuse.
Additionally, the owner took time to chat with me over the phone about their production process, quality assurance, and any questions I had. Very friendly and professional, check them out!

I recently purchased the Templar and Crusader Sword to add to my collection. It is historically accurate and the fit and finish is perfect, to be expected from DSA swords. The Templar Sword is on the heavier side, but very beefy. I felt almost invincible holding it. The Crusader Sword is lighter and easier to handle. They are 2 completely different swords though. I couldn’t just own one; so, I purchased both swords, a typical enthusiast I suppose ha-ha.

I like the fact that the swords are battle ready and made from real spring steel. The leather used is really nice and thick, not some cheap thin leather from other medieval swords I own.

The swords are great and I am really happy I made the purchase. It was difficult to drop $700 on each, but really is worth the money for a nice battle ready sword and historically accurate. I prefer this over the fantasy swords that DSA offers. The price is actually fair for the type of quality you are getting with DSA.

I originally had some concerns but staff, Chris helped me cleared it all up and got my shipment out on time. Chris was very helpful and accommodating.

I couldn’t have been happier with my purchase and more satisfied with customer service. It was an overall awesome experience.

I've purchased two swords from Darksword; Top level quality work for extremely reasonable prices.
I've got the 16th Cent. Two Handed sword, about 5 years old model. It's always been tight and solid, and it's held up well through some vigorous cutting tests. A comparable model to other two handed swords I've handled.
I've also recently picked up the Black Knight Medieval Sword, and the fit and finish is even better than the older model, and the leatherwork is impeccable.
Looking forward to future Darksword purchases!

Poor quality, slight warp, poor fit and finish. Pommel alignment is terrible. Guard alignment is terrible. Blade has a slight warp towards tip. Tip grind is poorly done. And you can quote history and articles all you want it’s DULL. And who wants to scrub thick grease off their new daggers pommel and portions of the handle. Giant waste of time and shipping costs.

It was a pleasure dealing with their friendly and knowledgeable team and exploring their showroom of swords that you may look at and handle. They also have some cool antiques on display and an owner operator that is proud to tell you about them.

I own their squire arming sword and I am very impressed with the quality and value. I appreciate the polish, alignment (fit and finish), and that it is a nimble hollow ground blade. I use it in full plate. I am a long time practitioner.

I was truly surprised by the Great Quality Products and Services that this company has to offer and provides.

I ordered The limited edition Excalibur Sword and the Danish Viking War Axe off their site and let me just tell you giving them five stars or saying they’re Amazing is an understatement not to mention the fantastic experience I’ve had with customer support; as when I first placed my order the shipping cost was 1070$ to where I live in Dubai, I was surprised but placed the order anyway thinking this is normal, 3 days later the company reaches back to me on email and refunds me 730$ Dollars back saying that there was an error in our system that caused this Extra Charge since they’ve never shipped to Dubai before, a week later after the order the shipment comes to my home carefully packed and cared for I opened the package and the products clearly show the amount of effort, professionalism and quality that was put into forging and creating them.

I really don’t understand how the rating on google for dark sword armory averages to 4.1 Stars from today.

Maybe it’s because the percentage of customers that rate them is low and those who actually do are mostly upset people as I am 100% sure that there are a million other happy customers like me.

Plus they gave me 3 coupons as a gift that total out to $150 off for my next orders.
