Motel cher pour le service minimal et la vétusté des chambres.

When we pulled off the main road into the parking area we weren't too sure what we'd let ourselves in for (having booked it months in advance from Australia). Appearances can be deceiving ! The older lady who greeted us was very pleasant (even though she was a little difficult to understand). We had a compact cabin which had a very comfortable sofa bed in the main room which also had a table, 4 chairs, sink, full sized stove and full sized fridge. Our friends had a separate, small bedroom with a comfy double bed. The bathroom was small but the shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. We got clean linen every day (without requesting it). Despite it's proximity to the main road it was reasonably quiet. We walked a short distance up the road towards town for coffee and pastries at the bakery and ice cream from the chocolatier. It was basic but well priced and comfortable.

The motel has a good location. It is the cheapest accommodation in the area, apart from the campsites. It fulfills its purpose. The room was not clean when we arrived and the daily cleaning consisted of a towel change and emptying the garbage cans. The pictures on Booking.com showed a kitchen, which was not for communal use (as described online). There was a fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee filter machine in the room. The bed was hard and made a noise with every movement. The bathroom was adequate but not clean either.

For me, it needs work, very quiet 🤫 while I search for my dog. That I lost at Ocean Village Resort. Depends what you care about I suppose. For me it gives me a starting point in the search for my dog ZIGGY.

Der Preis ist eine absolute Frechheit! |Das Zimmer ist klein, so auch das Bett (wenn man sich darauf bewegt, hat man das Gefühl es bricht zusammen). ||Alles war einigermaßen sauber und frisch. |Aber wir haben uns überhaupt nicht wohl gefühlt. Die Türe wie auch die Fenster sind sehr dünn, daher hatten wir das Gefühl die Autos fahren durch das Zimmer.

Clean, nicely sized, friendly staff. Not the prettiest of places, no communal area, but a good relatively cheap place to stay in an expensive area! Good access to beaches and town isn't far away, with food huts just a few minutes walk away (Although limited options if it's raining as seating is outdoors)

My mum and I arrived past closing, but the owner stayed for us to check in. Very appreciated! She was very friendly and cheerful. The room was basic with a mini fridge, microwave, water kettle and coffee pot. The shower had good water pressure. No shampoo or conditioner but little soap bars.
Room was clean and quiet.
Free wifi.
Would definitely stay again.

My family and I love Dolphin motel, right away you get greeted with the warmest smiles from the owners. The pillows are the fluffiest and comfiest, the rooms are clean and love all the beautiful flower trees and plants ...needed to stay longer and the owner was happy to accommodate us
