Ma copine (tireuse débutante) et moi (tireur régulier) sommes aller tirer chez Doug fin Aout 2019 durant notre séjours aux USA.

En plus d’un large choix d’armes disponible à la location nous avons été très bien accueilli par le patron et ses employés malgré l’affluence. Nous avons bénéficié d’un super conseille de la part de Dave car nous avions jamais eu l’occasion de tirer en full auto. C’est un passionné avec qui il est très facile d’échanger malgré mon anglais qui n’est pas parfait.

Lors de notre séjour aux USA nous avons visité différents stands de tir (Arizona, Utah, Nevada) ou nous avons toujours été très bien accueilli. Cependant Doug fut de loin le meilleur stand que nous avons visité de part son ambiance super chaleureuse. Que vous soyez tireur débutant ou confirme, de passage a Salt Lake nous recommandons vraiment ce stand de tir. De plus les tarifs sont très corrects.

Meine Freundin ( Anfängerin ) und ich (Fortgeschrittener) waren bei Doug ende August 2019 während unserem Road Trip durch Amerika.

Nicht nur waren vor Ort eine grosse Auswahl an Waffen sondern wir wurden sehr gut von dem Chef und den Mitarbeiter empfangen, obwohl viel los war. Wir wurden auch sehr gut von Dave beratet da wir nie bevor mit Full Auto geschossen hatten. Man merk dass es Dave Leidenschaft ist, er ist mit Herz und Seele dabei, er ist vertrauenswert man konnten sehr gut mit ihm einen Gespräch führen obwohl unser Englisch nicht perfekt ist.

Während unserer Reise haben wir mehrere Schiessstände ausprobiert (Arizona, Utah, Nevada) wo wir auch dort gut empfangen worden sind.
Aber Doug’s Schiessstand war von weitem das Beste, man fühlte sich wie zu Hause. Seit Ihr in Salt Lake City? Sei es für Anfänger oder Fortgeschrittener wir empfehlen euch diesen Laden! Ausserdem sind die Preise sehr attraktiv. Schaut mal vorbei es lohnt sich!

My Girlfriend (Beginner shooter) und I (Advanced shooter) were at Doug’s at the end of August 2019 during our Road Trip through America. Not only they got a large selection of weapons, but we were also very well received by the boss and the staff.(although there was a lot going on in the shop). We were also very well advised by Dave since we never shot Full Auto before. You could see that Dave is passionate about his job, he is trustworthy and you could have nice conversation with even though our English wasn’t perfect.
During our trip we tried several Indoor Shootings (Arizona,Utah, Nevada) where we were also well received. But Doug’s Indoor shooting was by far the best one, you felt like home (if I can say so). Are you in Salt Lake City? For beginners or advanced we recommend this place! The prices are also very attractive. Go have a look it’s worth it !

10/10 best experience for first timers. My partner and I came from Australia and wanted to check the place out. All the staff were so helpful especially Burgess, I went back for the second time and he walked me through everything again with a lot of grace and patience, he gave me great tips and recommendations, really took his time making sure that I was really ready to go into the shooting range (by myself for the second time I came back), he was also just such a great guy to have a conversation with. Highly recommend anyone go there if it’s your first time, they look after you.

I bought an M&P 15 from Doug's a few years ago and when I was looking for a pistol that's easier to conceal than my M&P 40, Doug's was my first choice. I bought a Springfield Hellcat there today. The staff is awesome. They mounted the red-dot sight for me and since I've never shot a pistol with an optic before they walked me through how to use it. These guys are knowledgeable and so friendly. I'd recommend them in a second.

Our visit to Doug’s Shoot’n Sports was absolutely fantastic — an easy 10 out of 10 experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made a huge difference for us as novice / tourist shooters from Switzerland. We especially appreciated Burgess, who not only provided a thorough introduction to the weapons but was also a delight to chat with.

Having visited other shooting ranges before, we’ve found the other’s approach either too hands-off or overly controlling. In contrast, Burgess struck the perfect balance with his calm, patient, and approachable demeanour. He even let us help load the magazines, which made the experience feel even more complete and fun. All in all, our visit was not only enjoyable but also genuinely educational.

We highly recommend Doug's Shoot'n Sports to anyone looking to experience a bit of the "happiness and freedom" the staff so perfectly described!

We had a 5 star experiences in Doug's. it is our first time to shoot and the staff Burchie (hope i spell it right) was very patient and we had a little turoirial before hitting to the range. He recommended a Glock44 and P&M1255 for our pistol and rifle. Awesome day!
