This place would've been a 4/5 easy.

Used to be a place I've gone to for years. Would drive down from Halifax a few times a month to get jerky, donairs, or ice cream.

Not sure what happened since covid but the quality and quantity of everything drastically went downhill and the prices skyrocketed. Guessing new management or owners or something. Greed seemed to get in the way for sure.

The last 4 or 5 visits all have been really awful and it bums me out that I have to drop this store from my usual spots because of it.

We ordered lunch from here for close to 10 colleagues and it was all ready, packaged up and kept warm with everyone's orders labeled with their names. Amazing service! Everyone loved their choices - from donairs and donair grilled cheeses to clubhouse sandwiches and a burger made with local beef. I think we will be making the trip to D&W Swinimers more often for work lunches.

Also - their ice cream cakes are awesome!! Order ahead to customize them!

We got two donair plates that were delicious! I appreciate Maddie taking the time to explain the toppings on the plates and being patient with us while we chose ice cream sandwich cups. Also thank you for redoing the debit machine so I could leave a tip as well. It was clear she was done with the day and ready to go home...I was a new to the place customer. Delicious ice cream sandwich cups too! Definitely will come back

The store has a good variety of products and the food is great, however they treat the employees very poorly and have a high turnover for employment. Letting people go for injust reasons at the same time hiring other people for the same positions.

Amazing Takeout Food. Burgers are to die for, Donair is amazing. The deli meats are great and they sell ice cream too. You can't beat a stop in after work for a quick order or on a hot day. Keep them in mind for a Family Picnic day too. The Staff is great. Just a good store all around.

Delicious freshly cooked food. Got a bacon and tomato. Super cheap and quick. Stumbled upon this spot on our way to the zoo. Their ice cream cakes look amazing!

I was visiting from out west and this place was on the way during my many trips into Halifax. It’s a typical convenience store with the added bonus of a kitchen where you can order burgers, donairs, sandwiches and much more. Stopped twice for a cold cut sub. Those are delicious and always people picking up or waiting on orders. The store looks like a busy spot. They also have a dairy bar. Love their ice cream. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a stop.

Go here frequently and spend lots of money generally okay, however today I wasn't given any donair sauce for my donair. Had a 20 minute drive home, go home to eat it and there is no sauce so I ask for a partial refund to drive back. I was offered $2.00 haha.

After this experience I wouldn't advise anyone to go there.
