Went there on a Saturday, the woman working was very friendly but said she just fills in on the weekend and didn't know much about the products. She suggested I come during the week.
Came in during the week, I was polite, respectful and excited to pick out a new rod to go with one of the reel I already purchased at the store. The guy with the shaved head was unhelpful and rude as many other reviews point out.
I suppose if you place an order online he could pick it out for you and set it at the counter.
Do not expect anything else. It's a shame given the potential of the store.

Store had a pretty decent selection I’ll give them that, but the bald guy at the counter…. Bout the rudest person I’ve encountered in a while. I couldn’t find what I was looking for, figured I’d ask the guy at the counter like any civilized person would do. He fluffed me off like I was inconveniencing him. So I left… went out to the parking lot climbed in my truck and ordered what I needed off Amazon. What was l looking for? Nail weights nothing complicated. Maybe he was having a bad day….it happens, Maybe it’s cause I didn’t roll up with a 100K Skeeter on my trailer I dunno.

I will admit, this store has an amazing amount, and variety of everything fishing. I was just taken aback at the price of bait.

Arrived about 20 minutes before closing on Saturday of August long weekend. The young male staff members were very polite and helpful. I was very thankful for their service which probably affected their friendly attitude. You get what you give!

I specifically went here to support a local business. I wish I just went to bass pro or Canadian tire. Customer service was extremely unhelpful. I asked for specific help on rod, reels and lures. Apparently all the lures can catch fish so just pick whatever. I just wanted advice on good items to buy and get excited about fishing.

I left the store feeling frustrated and not excited to fish. There was also another customer in the store in a similar situation and they didn’t get any help either.

Terrible customer service. I was sold a defective gun. They told me nothing they could do about it and I had to go trough the warranty program for the gun I bought. The gun is brand new. Never fired the gun cause the gun won't load. Asked for my money back and was told no. I have to go through the warranty. When I bought the gun, the same day I found the gun for cheaper. I called the store. They said to speak to the manager. I left my information. No call back. Every time I called the manager is always out. I would give them a zero if possible

Two separate times I have called and your teenage employees who said one a bait fuel injector is in stock within ten minutes they magically didn’t have any left. Second time ask for a specific Joe Bucher swimbait they say they have in stock and once again show up again didn’t actually check to see if it is in. Won’t be spending my money at your store cause your employees are either lazy or incompetent.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The guy was extremely rude when asked simple questions and acted as if customers were an inconvenience to his business. After this experience I had at Epps Fishing I have heard many other stories that are very similar - all with the same issue being this man and his constant rudeness to customers.
If it wasn’t for him I could see it being a great experience at this store due to its selection.
