I researched several online military surplus stores for used white mukluks, and Frontier Firearms was the clear choice due to excellent pricing and selection. All other storefronts sold the liners and insoles separately from the mukluks for exorbitant prices.

I am quite tired of low-quality foreign-made winter boots for myself and my kids, and all of the information provided about these mukluks indicate that this winter, we will definitely have the warmest and coziest feet on Alberta!

Upon ordering three pairs of size 8 boots and realizing that I messed up because I wasn't aware of how big my son's feet are, Paul was extremely accommodating and allowed me to modify my order to a pair each in size 8, 9, and 10. Shipping was fast via Canada Post, and I appreciated having a tracking number as well.

Upon receipt of the mukluks, I noticed that none of the "pairs" of boots were actually "pairs"; for example, the size 8 "pair" left boot was made in 1999 but the right boot was made in 2008; the same situation for the other two "pairs" as well. However, since all I really want is warm feet, I don't actually care about this! 🦶

As well, the boots are advertised as the boots, loners, and insoles; I was also missing several of these items, but upon contacting Paul, he shipped out the missing items quickly, again with a tracking number.

I fully expected the boots to be used and not pure white anymore, but they are all in quite good condition; I bought Shoe Goo to make minor repairs to the water sealing around the edges where the rubber boot bottom meets the canvas. As well, I washed all of the boots twice (after removing the insides) in hot water, vinegar, and borax, air dried them, and they now look almost new again!

Overall, I am pleased with my decision to purchase used mukluks from Frontier Firearms, and would recommend Paul and his company for excellent customer service.

UPDATE 30 November 2023:

Well, after finally receiving all of the items and after finally washing everything, I see that I have received two left size 10 boots. As my son has both a left foot and a right foot, I have sent yet another email to Paul requesting a right size 10 boot. Will update my review accordingly at a future date, but have downgraded my review to 2 stars as this is getting ridiculous, and all of the items should have been checked properly prior to the initial shipping.

Dealing with Marlin has always been a positive experience. Frontier Firearms has always been a business that treats their customers with respect and honesty. So happy to have the privilege of dealing with them throughout the years.

Definitely not worth doing business with. Dishonest, and incredibly misleading. Zero customer service, zero accountability.

Poor customer service and extremely dishonest. Some listings are intentionally misleading or outright false. When they were confronted about this, they simply went silent. Their refund policy is there to prevent you from making any meaningful return and they even have the audacity to ask for a restocking fee for defective items after you pay for return shipping.

I have bought used/surplus rifles, assortment of outdoor gear, blankets, mountain picks, etc. from Frontier and they have been amazing to deal with both online and on the telephone. I always get a good bargain with them and their shipping turnaround is fast, often arriving earlier than promised. Sign up for their e-mailing list and something interesting and good may come your way.

Was shipped a product that was damaged and in unusable/unsafe condition.

I find it hard to believe the damage would not have been noticed before sending the product out. It appears this was an attempt to get rid of damaged surplus inventory.

Email & phone communications with the store have gone unanswered. The one time I did get through to an employee I was promised a follow-up call the next business day, which was over a month ago at this point.
