Extremely disappointed. I had a check engine light on, and expressed that was my only concern as well as recording all my info for a warranty provider. They never even touched base with warranty company prior to running diagnostics. Completed preliminary diagnostics without any estimate or repair. Then I had to reach out to warranty company and shop to get the process moving for a secondary inspection, which I was charged for, to find out nothing wrong with the vehicle. When I prompted advisor to clear fault codes and then test drive to see what/if fault codes returned prior to charging a secondary inspection. Of course after all their "inspection of parts and systems" they decided to do as I said and clear codes, test drive and see what codes returned. Absolutely nothing!!!!! And, that's what I got for another $222, NOTHING!!! Advisor also tried to sneak in added fees after approval of secondary inspection. Customer satisfaction 0. I also had to follow up with shop multiple times with no follow up as promised. Only excuses from Nathan, the advisor in question. Might be one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in decades. Much of this poor experience could've been eradicated with 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, as a value of this establishment.

I also posted this at Erskines, but they told me they are 1 company. Both of which I do not find trustworthy.

I thought I found my new mechanic, I was wrong. The folks were super nice talking to me. They scheduled my service quickly. I had a noise I wanted them to just look at, tell me what they thought. I scheduled an oil change to give them some business and a time to listen to the noise without asking for a free estimate. When I dropped off the vehicle I mentioned I thought I might have figured out the noise. I also mentioned my gas guage was faulty but there was enough gas to test drive it. He asked if I still wanted it looked at. I misunderstood and thought he meant the original issue, he actually meant the gas gauge. I ended up saying, "if it's $50 go ahead but if...." He interrupted and said, I'll diagnose but I won't do anything until I call you. I felt great that there wouldn't be additional unexpected charges. When I called them 35 minutes before they closed to see if the vehicle was ready(I was the first one in that morning) they had $350 added to the bill I was not expecting. Very expensive diagnosis. 3x the $50 I was ok with approving before hand . They reduced the bill by 25% of the additional undeclared costs. The whole thing was a communication break down. No prices of anything were offered in advance. I asked, and was not told the cost of the oil change. It was reasonable though. I suspected that comment on the $50 would imply a lot, like don't do it if it cost more than $50? So either Erskines purposely do not disclose pricing in advance as a practice, or they don't pick up on subtext. The $250 they got from me will be the last, even though the thousands of dollars of work they deemed necessary that I deferred today, I would have gone back to them for when I budgeted for it.

Tech: do you want me to look at that?
Me: if it's $50 or less sure.
Tech: it's $150 just to diagnose
Me: just leave it then

That's what I expected. They thought that was unreasonable

Edit: A since deleted response to this review from the mechanic said "you don't get anything for less than $50 these days". That's exactly the type of thing I expected them to say up front.

Also, when I said I wasn't comfortable with the charges I wasn't expecting the employee asked "do you expect us to just diagnose issues for free? Isn't our time worth something?" I received no billing for the 17 other things they tried to sell me that I didn't ask for. Videos, pictures and write ups on repairs I didn't request. SO yes Nathan, you set the expectations that you do diagnose everything you could possibly bill for for free, but because I said I think there is a problem with the noise and I think it's the belt, you charge $150 to take the video of you pushing the belt with your finger. There is no standard of value in your billing. It's just get as many billable hours out of everyone who brings us their vehicle.

Brakes failed far from home before a holiday weekend but they did it the next business day. Liked the photos and web estimate, and friendliness. The $1712 price seemed high to replace two brake lines however, I had no way to get multiple quotes.

It was a pleasure to do business with these folks because they were very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and they know what customer service is about. This was my very first visit to Green Tree but it certainly won't be my last. They fixed the issue with my van and pointed out along with a detailed printed list of what I would need to have done in the near future. I was very impressed with the service I received!!!! My next visit will be for winter tires and rims at a great price. Thank you to the whole Green Tree team for making my visit so pleasant today!!!!!

I went in to Green Tree today to buy and install new winter tires for my pick-up. Customer service exceeded my expectations. Their pricing came in under all other quotes I received. I highly recommend this professional team. All info provided up-front and questions answered up front. No surprises. They even text/email service update for you so you know where they are at with your vehicle while you are waiting. Also, everyone was adhering to COVID safety protocols. Thanks for the great experience, team. I highly recommend Green Tree for your automotive needs!

This was my first visit here ever, was recommended by a friend... As a small business owner myself, I have to say I'm more than impressed. First off the friendliness of staff is top notch... you feel welcome moment you walk through the door, not intimidated as in what its feels like at the big dealerships!!!

Then there's the attention to details...
over all I find then helpful, "NOT" pushy trying to sell you services you don't need, and finally the follow up they do after the service is exceptional, right to the point of their detailed service inspection of your car, including pictures of areas of concern - future maintenance needs to be addressed.

I rated them a 10 +, and they will be getting my service work in the future!!!
