Amazing customer service and they were able to squeeze me in while I was on an incredibly tight deadline! Leaving town on a cross country trip in one week and they helped me fix an oil change gone wrong from a different shop’s malpractice. Everyone in the shop was friendly and ready to help. Long story short, a shop in Spryfield spilt oil all over my engine and bay during a routine change and didn’t tell me or properly remedy the spill and 15 minutes later of driving it was smoking out of the hood. I could not go back as the shop was closed (and not trustworthy) so the next day I phoned around for a shop closer to me. I was lucky to find an honest shop afterwards that confirmed my suspicions and cleaned the oil off properly and thoroughly. My engine bay is no longer oil coated and billowing smoke! Would highly recommend and return to!

Honestly, the best garage I've ever been to. Without question. I've been going for a couple years now and have never been even a little disappointed.

My most recent visit here was due to a confusing issue that kept triggering my check engine light, which would then shut off after restarting my car, making it difficult to diagnose. The folks at Harbourside fit me in, despite a busy schedule, and worked for two days to solve the issue, each day calling to give me an update and options. We’ve been taking our vehicles here for over five years and I’ve always been really pleased with the service and fair prices. This time, they really went above and beyond with their customer service, taking the time to make sure I understood what was happening by explaining the issue and options in a respectful way. I really appreciate the time and care given. 12/10 recommend.

Brought my car in for an MVI today. They were very pleasent and fully explained the few things that should be maintained and explained the causes and options available. There was a minor repairs and offered to courier a part over and fix it right away which was great. This place feels like my small town garage down home that doesn't rip people off for profit. 100% would recommend!

This garage has excellent service. The employees are honest about what repairs are required and what work may need to be done on a future date. My husband and I have taken our vehicles several times now and will definitely continue to do so. Thanks for the great service as usual.

I have had work done here three times. You can get in decently quick if you need a quick fix and prices are average. However, I can say I will not be back as several slip ups have happened. Daren is great and has fantastic communication, but I can’t say the same for anyone else who I have dealt with there. The first time my car went into shop was a year ago, when I had a spare tire and needed a new tire. The wrong size tire was put on my vehicle . I drove the car for many many months without realizing as I assumed they knew what they were doing and what size tire to be put on and I relied on their mechanics to do so. It has damaged my AWD system and alignment. Once I found out about this via my current repair shop, I called this branch, and spoke to owner Mike and explained the situation. He told me since I don’t get all my work done there, and we have no “customer relationship” there is nothing he can do for me as it has been too long coming, and I should’ve verified the size on my door jamb. (I did check it initially.) The wrong tire was still ordered by them, and put on by their mechanic in the first place, also states that in my invoice. I don’t understand how that could of been customer fault/error in any department, as I am not the mechanic. I have one wrong size tire on my car now and they will do nothing for me because I didn’t realize THEIR error sooner, and I get my other work done else where now. I also had my wiper motor replaced by them this year. It was a fine experience initially, as it was an aftermarket motor so a reasonable price as well. About 3 weeks after having it replaced, it seized again and completely stopped working, to which I was told that it’s unreliable and I should’ve known it could break at any time, due to the fact that it came from the salvage yard. I had to pay labour charges for another aftermarket motor. The only pros of this shop is that they can get you in quickly if you really need them to. However I am disappointed at the lack of responsibility that was taken on their end, and unfortunately won’t be coming back to this shop as the work that is being done in my experience was unreliable.

Honest mechanics like these guys are worth their weight in gold. They do good work and try to save you money whenever possible. Edit: 3 years later and I stand by what I said! They've had some personell changes in the last couple years but the services hasn't changed a bit. Darren at the front desk always explains the situation very clearly and even helps self diagnose sometimes. I can't recommend this shop enough.
