The staff here are very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful.
I picked up a new rod and reel here back in the summer which has been working great, and just purchased my first rifle.
Blair was very informative and honest in helping me make decisions on which to choose and why.
Not to mention it’s much better to support small business over big box stores.
Highly recommend going here for any of your fishing/hunting needs. Looking forward to my next visit.

We had the opportunity to fish with Island Outfitters on the Terminator out of Port Renfrew, BC. Captain Zane H was great, he went above and beyond. During both days it was clear that guest safety while having a good time and catching fish was the captain's top priority. The captain was able to keep us on the bite both days, with very little down time between fish. The fish were plentiful. We even got in a little extra crabbing on the way back to the port. The boat was always clean and organized, it was clear that the captain takes pride in his operation. At the end of each day the captain made sure our fish were ready to go to our choice of processors. I would 100% recommend Island Outfitters, and Zane.

I am just learning how to fish in salt water out of a boat. The staff has been extremely helpful and has educated me, shared tips and tricks, and fixed equipment I have have broken. Ian (the owner) and his team are knowledgeable, they are friendly and non-judgmental. Our community needs more businesses like this. On Monday I bought an anchor system from them, they hustled to get it all ready for me by the end of the day and I was able to take it on a test run that evening. They taught me how to use it safely and took the time to draw a diagram, and give me the safety aspects of running an anchor system in the current. The next morning I caught a big skate, it was the fight of my life and the knowledge they shared with me made it so that I could safely get the fish in the boat. I can’t say enough great things if 6/5 was an option I would give it to them!!! Thanks Island Outfitters team you have me “hooked”
