A very nice hiking trail along the coast. We went in late May and came across some caribou hanging out around the play structure. The trail is relatively well-maintained but parts of it were flooded so proper footwear is recommended.

There were many icebergs along the way and many rocky beaches to explore. The icebergs were so close that one can reach out and pick up pieces of ice. There were many sights along the way, such as the Long Studio (an interesting art studio on stilts), gazes used by generations for shelter against the elements, and the Great Auk (bronze statue of an extinct bird).

Very enjoyable hike with non stop beautiful ocean views. Some steps to climb up and down, take your time as there're plenty of places to stop and enjoy the view. We turned around after seeing the great auk statue, and that took roughly 45 mins.

Really nice trail, not too difficult, probably should do in the morning. Bring water, enjoy lovely views. Especially the great Auk.

The google map has its trail head in the wrong place. There is a road further to the right after the marker and drive all thew way to the community park (49.732193, -54.158342). In the community park, walk the path between the playground and track and field. Then you see a big trailhead sign. It's a trail of more than 1 hour back and forth. Mostly flat and easy to navigate. I ran into a few goats but they ran away as soon as they saw me. I guess they are wild goats? The trail goes up north along the coast line.
