This store is not Bass Pro Shop but it has a smaller but very relevant inventory. The owner will order in things that are not on hand. He also makes his own products such as heavy fluorocarbon leaders, spinner baits, jigs and jig heads amongst other things. This location also has live minnows and worms. We found that the prices are very competitive. The store is not high tech or fancy, but it is a smaller, privately owned store. My family has been buying fishing gear from here for years; poles, reels, baits, live bait and fishing licenses. We enjoy shopping with the smaller shops over the conglomerates.

Been there many times, but why after walleye opened would you be closed at 5? Majority of people are finished work at 5 and want to fish after work/dinner. I went today being May 24 '22 and he was closed at 20 to. The one time I get a chance to be home before 5 and the only bait shop within half hour of home is closed before they say they are. The gentleman is very knowledgeable and has an understanding of the art but his attitude is awful. If you're passionate about fishing you should love your job.

Stopped in to buy minnows and to browse. The clerk had zero personality. Not in the least bit friendly. May have spent more time and money if he was helpful or friendly. Bought minnows regardless and they were 50% dead within the hour by time we reached the cottage. Took them immediately to the bait pail on our arrival. This dude is not interested in customer service. Might as well close his doors, no interest in the customer. I will NEVER set foot in this place again.

He always has what I need!
I like him, he knows all about fishing and tackle.
Minows selections are great, every time I asked for 3" minnows he takes extra time to get it for me.
Allof you who questioned his personality go somewhere else!

Good selection and ok prices, but the guy makes you feel unwelcomed lol. Also, he wouldn't let a friend of mine buy minnows simply because he assumed the minnows were for a school project? Idk why that matters...

Nice small shop off the river, it's got everything you need for a beauty day of fishing. Don't go to Canadian Tire, go here for your fishing needs. You can also get your fishing license here.
