Played a round at Lindsay Golf and Country Club for the first time on Sep 14th. Firstly, all the staff that I had interactions with were fantastic. The food at the restaurant is amazing and priced very well in my opinion.

The golf course has a very nice layout. Holes have some interesting looks, and you definitely get rewarded with accuracy. Fairways were in mint condition, and the greens were very soft (i actually plugged a few times on approach shots). The course has is walking friendly. Pace of play was good (4hrs 28 mins), we were not in a rush so we weren't pushing anyone nor getting forced by the group behind us. We were a little on the slow side as I had never played here.

Overall, this is a great course for the price you pay to play it. I highly recommend giving it a try as I cant see you being disappointed. Will definitely play it again and would be a top choice for a membership if i lived in that area.

Enjoyed my round at Lindsay GC. Lots of challenging holes, with water and sandtraps. I used my driver a ton (which I like). Staff was very friendly, grounds were maintained well and the food was okay afterwards.

Maybe, just maybe they could sell some drinks/refreshments in the proshop. I drove from Durham Region and had a 7:50am tee off and didnt bring a water. Drink cart girl wasnt around untill 11:30am, felt pretty thirsty. Almost every club sells Gatorades in the proshop to throw in your bag and start off your round.

We had booked a round to experience the course conditions. I have heard good things about it so it was time to see for ourselves. Checked in and the lady in the proshop was absolutely a delight. She had a smile for everyone that came through the door. We hit a few on the range and did our last minute presentations when we received a phone call advising us of a family emergency.
I explained the situation to the same lady and she was once again kind, friendly and professional while offering us best wishes.
I look forward to playing a round in the future.
It certainly is a friendly environment.

For what it is and what it costs (good value in particular after 2pm), this really is a good course to play and nice challenge, primarily in terms of length.
Have not played here in a couple years and went with my son. For reference he is a 12 hdcp and I am a 7.

Greens, nice shape. Receptive and still able to roll relatively true albeit a touch slow which is not necessarily a bad thing at times. Clearly defined levels in most which is nice not to see just a bunch of flat pancakes.
Fairways also in good shape. Like the greens they are not tightly nowed by any stretch of the imagination but short enough that you get a good lie in the fairways. Rough is definitely on the thin side so not penal really at all. Also a bonus if you are trying to score well or just have a casual fun round with little frustration.
In terms of trouble there is some from time to time such as water features or forest features here and there. Overall I would say some holes are challenging and others are wide open where you can find pretty much any shot. Nice balance.
This course is one of the longest we have played in the area so if you are playing from the white, blue or black tees expect to have to use your driver or well struck three wood to reach the green in reg. 6-7000 yards from those tees so short hitters or new golfers should really consider playing from forward tees to have more fun and keep a decent pace.

Decent clubhouse with nice staff that is well equipped and a nice looking food and bev hall/facility next to that which you drive past at the turn Overall decent
Lots of parking which they need bc as others have said this course bc of convenient location near major highways etc is quite busy although we still managed to finish in about 4.5 hrs. Back was faster than the front as it looks like many only play nine.
If there was one thing that would really need improvement it is the condition of the carts. Sounds trivial but man the vast majority are in really rough shape. There were a couple dozen avail when we got there and every one had torn upholstery, no rain hood or a mouldy torn up one (threat of rain) etc etc. I honestly don't recall seeing carts like this at even the smallest nine hole courses.
Regardless it is a nice course, good value and we will def be back again when we want to play a longer course that is not tough as heck a you feel will slaughter you with the slightest mishit. Pick the correct tees and I can see why its busy as it can be a fun track to play for almost anyone.

We attended the Mothers Day Brunch this year and it was absolutely lovely!
There was a couple of photo opportunities with beautiful balloons and signage for moms and families.

There was plenty to choose from for the breakfast buffet and the food was great! They also included a cranberry mimosa as the complimentary drink.

The event was well organized and coordinated.

Thanks for a lovely experience!

Likely one of the best courses in the area; some of the back nine holes are wicked hard and doubt many can par many of them from the blues. Definitely going to play this course again.

Great course, but the pace of play today (May 19) was terrible. We waited 5 to 10 mins on every single hole. Our round was 5 hours and we normally get through this course in 4.
That said, the weather was perfect, the course is in fantastic condition, staff are super friendly (special shout out to the starter…but, sorry, I forget her name) and the layout is great.
I should probably mention, it was very foggy this morning and I’m sure the fog delay backed up the entire day.

We hosted our New Years Wedding and the staff were extremely supportive while being excellent hosts of our guests. The event coordinator was able to compliment the evening by adding in some finishing touches with our decor. Highly recommend the venue should you consider hosting your guests here.
