3rd fishing trip in as many years, another awesome time spent on the water with Rob this August. He's always up to speed on where to go, bait and lures to use, creating an interesting, entertaining and unforgettable experience each time. Rob is a safety conscious local operator with great boat. Had the best time with Rob on a half day wildlife and fishing trip. Rob was very attentive to our interests and exceeded all our expectations. We saw Bears, Seals, Humpback Whales and caught some salmon for us to cook up for dinner. A private charter on Rob’s boat is a must if visiting Vancouver island.

Rob (Lucky Strike Sportfishing) is hands down the best fishing guide there is. Had an absolute blast fishing for halibut and salmon. Rob was organized, well equipped and came prepared with an itinerary that suited our requests. His boat is extremely seaworthy and equipped with two high performance engines. Look no further for a fishing guide in Tofino.

Rob’s a thoughtful, patient and thorough guide who was great with kids. He was focused on safety and communicated well and educated us about the wildlife and different fish. We fished for some halibut with no expectation and we’re lucky with our catch. We went jigging for rockfish and lingcod so the kids can have action and they all caught plenty of fish. We highly recommended Rob. He wasn’t in a rush and really loves what he does. We will use him every time we come to tofino to fish. 5 stars through and through.

Great trip with Rob. Wonderful of him to share the prawns from his prawn traps with us. Saw a pod of humpback whales, a few “rafts” of sea otters in addition to the fishing. Caught a 9lb salmon and hooked two more. A great day all in all

What an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend to everyone! Rob's knowledge and experience of not only sport fishing, but the history and wildlife in the area is second to none.
