The past month the food has gone down hill. Not sure if they got a new chef or what Their burgers have changed and it was not good as it was couple months ago. Had a steak sammich before and asked for it to be medium it was well over done and very bland. Service was good. Use to love treating my family here few times a month but now I think we will have to retire this place.

We had an amazing lunch here with our kids. Excellent service and the food was fantastic. Homemade chicken tenders we're delicious and the nachos were excellent.

I cook for a living and when I'm just over it, we order from the Lumsden Hotel and Steak Pit. They've never disappointed! Last night I had chicken tenders, which were house made and breaded and absolutely divine, served with Honey Dill Dip. The menu has so much variety that it will satisfy everyone in your household. I'm so grateful for this place!

We came back AGAIN (3rd time) for those mozzarella sticks (logs) just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. We had them with the mussels (ALSO INCREDIBLE)

I have yet to eat anything here that isn't good. 🙂

I didn't stay in the hotel, but the Steakhouse was awesome. The staff were friendly and very attentive. It was so nice to see some true service for a change.

We haven't even left the building and I need to review. We got the mozzarella sticks and as a cheese lover I was offended. At how huge they were..... offended but in a good way. There are 4 in the order and there's at least half a pound of cheese here. I was shocked at the girth size and weight of these. Like a mr. Clean magic eraser.

Third time I've been here and have been blown away by the food.

My husband, daughter ( 19 months) and I stayed for 2 days ( 02-04 Aug). They put a portable AC unit to keep it cool ( which was greatly appreciated due to heat and our little one. It was clean and comfy. As warned we could hear the music from the bar but the AC tuned it out. We blew the breaker the first night, they fixed it right away ( this was a me mistake, due to too many things plugged in). Overall,comfortable, spacious stay for the price. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful. ||The only issue we had initially was booking as the online never worked for us and you could only call during business hours (9-5) as after 5 they are running the bar and it does get busy. ||I would stay here again.

Food is always great, mussels are amazing considering we’re in the prairies (and they beat many other restaurants in Ontario and Alberta that’s I’ve tried) Sarah is also a sweet heart and when I asked if the blackened chicken pasta was good she said yes, so we know she’s an honest server too. Good food, good vibes, great times xo
