Me and my friends had a great experience at Small Arm thanks to Ty. From when me and my friends arrived Ty made sure we felt safe, informed, and comfortable. Ty was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable of firearms. What stood out was his professionalism and patience whether it was answering my questions about different firearms, demonstrating proper handling techniques, and helpful tips to improve my aim. I would definitely go back again.

Outstanding staff, extremely competent, professional, and knowledgeable! It's totally a family environment...my 12 and 14 years old boys love it.

We came here on a weekday using a deal on Groupon. The staff was friendly and the equipment was decent. The floor in the range had shell casings all over and needed to be swept. You have to pay $15 for ear muffs to save your ears. At many places these are included in the price. The lanes are a bit close together. But overall, it was a decent experience. We would go back.

We thank K one of the crew that help us guide with each gun we chose. It’s an indoor and the gun shot was very loud which made me nervous lol. We came early Sunday around 10:15 am and we were in 2nd line which was about 30 min wait or so. It’s my second time shooting but, first time indoor. Every staff were patient with us so, we’re very pleased. Had fun with the rifles we got :)

One of my regular and favorite spots I go to shoot. Staff is great, knowledgeable, welcoming, and funny when you actually talk to them in between grabbing what you need for the range. Range itself is straightforward and looks even more great after the renovations and upgrades they implemented. You can shoot a variety of calibers and guns here; love the fact that I can bring my shotguns out. Only caveat I have is how hot the range is; yes naturally it gets hot on a range; I’m referring to the fact that the range itself is very hot; not sure if it’s an AC issue or not but be prepared to sweat tremendously. Pricing is more than fair, overall customer service is great, definitely head to MSR whenever you get a chance.

As an African-American, I had a horrible customer service experience on the second floor here. I went upstairs to grab a duty belt for work, and I had a few items downstairs that I had to pay for. The upstairs representative told me I could not take the upstairs items downstairs, until she called downstairs, and let them know that there was a customer taking items downstairs. After waiting several minutes, and no one answered, I just took the items downstairs and paid for it. I was driving back from Baltimore and stopped here, this is the definitely the southern country part of Maryland. People have schedules and make money, no one has time to sit and wait for your discrimination, we have go. The fact that Black people have to go through this in 2024 is horrible. Get with the times.

Customer service was beyond unprofessional. It was my first time, so I asked questions and the three male employee's look obviously bothered that I disrupted their conversation. Uncomfortable situation. However my experience with my trainer was great. I would higly recommend doubling up on the ear protection.
