A quaint park on the banks of the St. Lawrence  and within an hour's drive from Ottawa. This park has all the perks - a lovely waterfront, a big shed with picnic tables in it, huge mature trees providing adequate shade. There is also a platform on the water with railings and benches on which visitors can spend an enjoyable time. There are two huge piers. One even has benches on which visitors can spend time soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. Those also provide an attractive platform for anglers. There is also a memorial dedicated to those Canadians who gave their lives in the two Great Wars and in the Korean War. The restrooms are big, clean and  well-maintained. There is adequate parking in the premises.

Very nice area. We go fishing off the pier there often. There is usually something going on. Sports the sporting fields, fishing tournaments, or local festivals of some type. Very well maintained by the Lion's Club and Municipality.

This is an exceptional rural park, tucked along the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Worth a pit stop from the highway! The park has plenty of picnic tables (both covered and open air), Muskoka chairs, and a chip stand and ice cream hut in the park! The food stands help fund the park.

Lovely place to take a stroll by the water, sit and enjoy a picnic or just sit in your car and enjoy the beautiful water view. They have a little canteen that offers snacks, ice cream and chip truck type food. There is a nice little fenced in area for a dog park. A fairly big enough dock the several people can fish from or sit in the few benches provided. A Pavilion in case it rains or to get away from the sun. There's a little beach as well, right before the golf course, with lifeguards. Not huge but nice for family and young children. Can't go wrong with a day by the water, watching the ships go by, or the birds. People always seem to have a smile in their face when I see them walking there. Parking available at the beach and the East end of the park. There's also a baseball diamond.

Well maintained, plenty of free parking. Perfect place to start and finish the Wine and Cheese Ride. There is a food stand as well. Clean public washrooms.
