Our experience with this homeschooling class was disappointing and, in our opinion, not worth the cost. The sessions were often dominated by older children, which left my younger kids feeling overlooked and unable to gain as much as I had hoped.

Additionally, the environment could have been more mindful of younger participants. Some aspects, such as the dress standards, were not age-appropriate or conducive to a comfortable learning space for younger children.

The staff and customer service also fell short of our expectations. Overall, we felt the program lacked the structure, professionalism, and consideration needed to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

The gym looks nice and seems well equipped. Not too crowded and the staff is polite and helpful BUT THE SMELL! I was there between 9:30 and 10am and whatever they use be it disinfectant, cleaner or deodorizer (it smells like the public washroom deodorant sticks) is overwhelming. I am not overly sensitive to scents but found it intolerable. It was strongest in the administration area but present in the gym entrance as well.

A deal breaker for me as I don't want to breathe in chemicals but also because it brings to question what they use to sanitize the equipment. 🤢

My daughter joined the Acro Gymnastics program three years ago and has loved it. The coaches and the program are the best in the country, as three quarters of the national team are training here (see pic).

Firstly, it’s so difficult to get anyone to return your call. After several phone calls and emails I was called back my Chantal and I explained to her that my daughter is interested in competitive gymnastics and this will eventually be her career path.

She asked me to send her an email giving her more information about my daughter and she will put her on a waiting list for try outs in June. So no surprise when I did not hear back from Chantal after sending a couple more emails .

Chantal eventually responded to me after I left a voice message to Diane the Creative Director informing her that I’m not getting any responses to my numerous emails …Not that Diane bothered to call me as well…

Chantal told me try out is June 18th, only 2 available spots- we arrived to find that my daughters name is not even on the try out list. It seems they had their picks already…

They care about money, not about improving our kids skills.
My daughter goes to Oakville Gymnastics Club , but unfortunately I did not see any improvement in her skills . I tried to communicate with the administration to move my daughter to a level that can challenge her to improve her skills and learn a new moves. After waiting for a long time to reply to the email I sent they say "class is full so we can not make the
switch".

I'll give them one thing, they have a monopoly in Oakville. But the gym is too packed, and the classes are just not that interesting. And I have a kid who is genuinely in love with gymnastics. She finds that the classes aren't really customized to the kids' interests or abilities, and overall she begs not to go. Super disappointing. We are converts to Burlington gymnastics from here on out. They really challenge her and excite her about gymnastics and the gym is not nearly as chaotic. Classes are also easier to get into.

Berly answer questions on the phone, and give less information, like if they dont want to talk. they didn't reply to my email, as I've been trying to register my daughter, but they don't care giving an answer either yes or no ... very unprofessional and give me feeling of discrimination and racism.... don't recommend

We really liked this place as a summer camp option as my daughter really wanted to take gymnastics regularly but we could not afford the cost. But this last's summers experience was not a pleasant one. Unfortunately, she was teased the entire 2 weeks she was there by other students, since she is 8 and at a very beginner level, on her skills. Laughing at her for not being able to do a cartwheel etc. She now never wants to go again. Due to this experience, we will not enroll her this year, but I would suggest to the club, that they group the summer camp kids in similar skill levels, so as not to scare of beginners and to be able to still challenge the more advanced students.
