One of the top Stampede rodeos in Canada. Top-rated competitors take part from all over North America!! The facilities are very impressive, the food is exceptional, and the exude community spirit. You feel like you're part of their extended family. Be sure to arrive early to take in the parade and market!

Gorgeous arena and rodeo setup. A great family experience to come out and enjoy Ponoka Stampede and Exhibition grounds. All the amenities you could possibly need and want with all the fun and entertainment.

Fun to watch a variety of things at the rodeo. Seats are covered (though there are a few leaking spots when it rains). Tickets for the afternoon show were a good price $25-30 plus fees depending how early they are purchased).

Warning!! The speakers were 105 dB when music was playing (which is about 4 minutes of permissible exposure time as per dangerousdecibals.org). This is very concerning for naive audience members and staff who do not have ear protection.

People selling water, pop, beer, and 50/50 tickets in the stands.

We could not figure out how to get to the dance hall. There weren’t staff around to provide direction and no signs.

2 of our hot chocolates were lukewarm; one was hot. Burgers were decent though the condiments were not evenly applied (I.e., ketchup only on one half). Wait time was quite long to receive food.

The clown told an unnecessary and disrespectful joke about “psychopaths.”

Probably the best stampede in Alberta. Nicest people and super convenient to get around. You can really feel the hometown hospitality.
