September. Called on Thursday to order rubber parts for fuel valve for my ATV. Was told the person to talk to was busy and would call me back. Nothing. Friday, same thing. Monday, same thing. Called on Tuesday and finally got the person and was told "I was just going to call you." I ordered and paid for the parts. I spelled out my name more than once. Two pieces had arrived by Friday, but the most important one hadn't arrived. Went out in the bush. The next day, the valve failed miserably. At least 11 litres of fuel lost and I was stranded miles in. Luckily some really great guys came along and towed me out. Could have cost me hundreds. I lost my entire hunting trip.

Back home I waited, called, and waited. Looked on line. Could have gotten the parts for less than half the price. Several places had them in stock. Would have gotten them in time.

October. Called and waited. Called and was told an email would be sent to find out the problem. Waited and called. "Oh, I just got the email back and there was a change in the part number so they had trouble figuring it out. The courier company just came in and it's on this truck." What?! Ya, sure, on both counts. (See also para one) I had the part number which agreed with the one in their system. Online sites used the same part number. Told them they could mail them at their expense.

This was Thursday. Parts arrived Monday. At least they worked.

To add insult to injury, after spelling out my name to them several times including when the parts were ordered, my name was grossly misspelled.

Found a bike they had online , went in with certified. Cheque paid for the bike straight out, took bike home , very first ride I felt uncomfortable at speed greater then 60, could hear a noise and feel vibration, took back there , mechanic toldd me the chain is way to tight , I told them that's how it was when I got it,. He said no it wasn't. He took me outside and. Showed me what the chain should look like properly tighten , and than told me to adjust it myself. No matter wat I did , I could never get rid of this noise I was hearing . Than only a couple weeks later not even 3000 km yet the bike chain broke, breaking chain guards and bolt spots right out of side of engine block, rear sprocket is bent and now the chain is broke off I can clearly hear there is something wrong with rear wheel bearing . The noise I've been hearing from day one. Trying to deal with these guys cause I didn't finance the bike from them is a joke. It's almost like they don't even care. Dealing with Yamaha Canada on the issue now. Hopefully can get it resolved as I havent even had the bike 90 days yet , and it already has to go under major surgery . Definitely not to happy . Bike was never right from day on and the service manager just trys telling you everything is ur fault . Definitely gonna have to start traveling to find a better Yamaha dealer in Saskatchewan.

Took my motorcycle there to be repaired for the same issue twice this summer and the issue still isn’t resolved. Don’t think they know what they’re doing over there because one of the employees told me there was nothing wrong with it when I brought it back the second time and then the same issue came up again less than a week later. I also dealt with a fairly unpleasant employee through all of this. Poor experience.

I purchased my Brute force from here a couple of weeks ago. The service was awesome! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and didn't make you feel pressured. They were able to answer all my questions and the mechanic went over the whole quad with me before I left with it making, sure I understood how to service it and all its features. I would recommend purchasing from here. It was easy and comfortable! Lots of Kawasaki stock to chose from also.

Almost every interaction I've had with Reed over the years has been negative. Parts and service staff are rude and arrogant. They don't seem to stock even basic items like oil filters for common motorcycle models. Parts staff do not follow up when ordered parts arrive. I've had them change a set of motorcycle tires and they scratched the rims excessively when changing them. I've sold my Kawasaki and purchased a KTM. Alsport operates with a much higher level of professionalism in both their parts and service. I will be avoiding purchasing even used Kawasaki or Yamaha machines since Reed is the local dealer. It seems to be well known in both the snowmobile and motorcycle communities that Reed is not a competent dealer. Schrader's in Yorkton is a more capable and more professional dealer and my family travels to Yorkton for parts and service for our Yamaha sleds and ATVs, even though Reed is much closer. These brands make some very good products and deserve better dealer support. Hopefully changes are made for the sake of current and future owners.

I bought a new KLX 300 Camo edition. The sale went well and very quickly, I enjoyed the bike, but on starting after 3 months of ownership the starter switch broke. I took it in and was told there was no warranty as I “had dropped it”. Not sure when that happened as I am sure I would have remembered dropping it. On another visit the parts department counter staff was very rude and insulting when I was asking for service (to the point another customer left the store as they were uncomfortable with the aggressive behaviour of the employee). Unfortunately I haven’t been back as I traded the bike in at Alsports for a Honda.
