Here’s my point of view.
Richards Memorial Park is like the ultimate hangout spot, named after a local legend. Imagine this: lush greenery, chill vibes, and plenty of space to kick back and relax. You wander around, soaking up the laid-back atmosphere, maybe even learning a thing or two about Richards and his impact on the community. With cool plaques scattered around, you get a glimpse into the history and stories behind the park. It's the perfect place to unwind, whether you're here to pay tribute or just looking for a peaceful escape in nature. Richards Memorial Park is where good times and good vibes collide. Also, there’s a small piece of beach like space where you can enjoy the time in the water and sand as well.

Visited the Richard memorial park when we weren't able to find a parking space at Jack Darling on a super busy weekend.
The park is small and quiet with some lunch groups when we visited.
They had spacious parking space which was good.

They have less barbeque joints inside the park which causes a delay as you will have to wait a lot for your chance.
The beach is sandy with some rocks. But overall when you don't get a place at better parks, you can visit here, sit at one of the bench and preferably enjoy a pre cooked meal.

A delightful park, not very big but has some nice picnic spots and fixed BBQ grills. There is a small play area for kids and a beach, the section on the south side is bit cleaner compared to the one on the north side. Parking is free but finding a spot in the afternoon is usually difficult on weekends. There are enough trees that provide good shade for a picnic. Not the best choice for a walk but great for a weekend picnic with friends and family.

This beach is a mixed experience depending on what you're looking for. It was quite crowded, on a holiday morning, so it's not the best spot if you're hoping to relax and enjoy nature. However, it does have a playground, making it a great destination for families with children. There's also a public washroom available, which is convenient. While the beach itself wasn't very clean, the view was beautiful. Also, it took us half an hour to find a spot in the parking.

It is small park and that’s what I needed today. Weekend well spent!! Not very crowded even on weekends. Finding parking spot was not a difficulty in the morning. It has a small play area for kids. Had fixed bbq spots and enough trees to provide you shade during your picnic time.

Always less people here than some of the other lakeshore parks. Unobstructed views of the lake. Have clean washrooms close by. Great picnic spot!

Very beautiful park to enjoy Lake Ontario. Whether you want to sit on rocks and hear that waves with rocks or you want to sit on the picnic benches to enjoy. Doesn’t seems very busy just local people in the park. Overall quite delightful to sit for a while.
