Just finished a One on One Live Fire Training session with Gabriel and what a great experience!
His knowledge, attention to detail and safety protocols are as it should be when entering this sport and Gabriel is a fantastic instructor!

Gabriel is an excellent instructor and a fantastic person as well. I had the privilege to be trained by him while getting my ATC. He took his time and really explained how to handle and use firearms. His patience with me was amazing and I felt comfortable learning and wasn't afraid to make mistakes. Overall I had an amazing experience and I would highly recommend Gabriel as an instructor for whatever course you take with Ronin Sports. 10 out of 10 for sure. I will definitely be going back to learn more from him.

I had the greatest privilege to take my ATC course with Ronin Sports instructed by Gabriel. To say the least, it was quite an experience. Gabriel is patient, he explains things in different ways in order for you to understand and works with students individually who are struggling. He gave me pointers on what I should work on and what I’m doing wrong as I shoot. If you’re looking to take any firearms courses, hit him up and you won’t be disappointed.

Echoing to the previous reviews regarding the instructor Mr. Nicoletti’s “military” teaching style.

I took the PAL course back in 2019, let’s just say I was quite surprised by his unpredictable and condescending demeanour. He shouts at us for making minor mistakes, to the point where more than a third of the class failed the course and had to retake. I know firearm safety is serious business…but so is driving…just like shouting at students learning how to drive will make them even more nervous and prone to mistake, learning how to handle guns safety is no different.

I thought all PAL instructors are like that until I took additional firearm courses and experienced how kind and patient other instructors are. Guess what The failure rate in such class is significantly lower. Who would’ve guessed that being kind and patient to students will facilitate learning?! Mind blown eh?

If you’re looking for a good introduction to firearms and get your PAL, look elsewhere. Mr. Nicoletti is not fit to be a civilian firearm instructor imho, his attitude might be more appropriate towards soldiers.

I received my Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) training from Gabriel Nicoletti of Ronin Sports.

He's a top shelf instructor who is passionate and totally committed to firearms safety. The energy he displays in class is likely unmatchable.

He has, in the past, provided first class security protection to a number of celebrities.
However, after having been through two courses with Gabriel, it was clear to everyone in the class that we were all lucky to be in the presence of a bit of celebrity as well.

Throughout the course, he always found a way to strike a fine balance between being hard-nosed and tough, as well as keeping it light, humorous, entertaining, informative and personable.

I strongly urge anyone to try to book firearms classes or private training with Ronin Sports.

My husband and I took the unrestricted and restricted firearms course in August 2020. We entered with little knowledge and left with an abundance. After taking this course, though intense, I feel good about my new hobby and I know how to ensure my own safety and everyone else's. It was definitely a great experience and I would recommend Ronin Sports for your firearms needs.
