Sam's CFSC training course was awesome. I had almost no familiarity with handling rifles and ended the day with 100% on the practical test. Sam makes this interesting and practical. Highly recommend to anyone and in particular women who may want to learn about the safe handling of a gun (and perhaps want to shoot sporting clays for fun). 5+ stars for this guy!!!!!

Sam Kim is a master of his trade. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge. His teaching skills are amazing and his ability to teach a lot of information in a short period is impressive. His sense of humour is fantastic and knows how and where to apply it, to help break up the course. I recommend everyone take his class. Sam is the best. I look forward to more training sessions.

My 14 yr old son recently completed SAM’S PAL course. He couldn’t have been more impressed with the entire process. As someone who has only some knowledge about real firearms, he was a bit nervous about the whole process, but Sam’s course made everything clear, straightforward, engaging and fun.
The course content was thorough, but Sam’s teaching style made it very accessible and easy to follow.
Sam is an experienced instructor who really knows his stuff. He emphasized safety above all else. What seemed to stand out for my son was that Sam made him feel comfortable and confident with his learning of the material. Sam was patient, knowledgeable and made sure that everyone was in the same page before moving forward.
It’s a long day but by the end of the course Sam had given my son the knowledge and confidence to safely handle firearms, which, in turn, made me more comfortable about the whole thing.
If you’re looking to get your PAL, we highly recommend SAM’s Training Courses. I’m grateful to Sam for the experience he provided my son.

Just finish the course last Saturday. Sam is a great instructor. He somehow makes the 10 hours course less boring and fun to enjoy. He has a lot of experience with firearms. I highly recommend if you are interested in taking the course and getting PAL. The facility is good compared to other places I know. Sam also prepares coffee and cookies for everyone. Overall, it is a great experience.

I recently completed my PAL (September 21) and RPAL (September 22) courses with SAMS Training, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Sam Kim is an exceptional instructor with a fantastic sense of humor, which made the courses both informative and enjoyable. His teaching style is engaging, thorough, and full of practical advice, which helped me feel confident going into the tests.

I would highly recommend SAMS Training to anyone looking to obtain their firearms license. Sam ensures that you not only pass the tests but also leave with a strong understanding of firearm safety and handling. I successfully passed both the non-restricted and restricted licenses with flying colors the past week and finished today. Sam is an excellent, excellent, instructor who makes the 12-hour course day as engaging and enjoyable as possible (just believe me on this claim), else no one would get through the day without falling asleep at least once😂. His extensive knowledge of firearms is very evident and very open and patient to help when you have questions or concerns. The fresh coffee and snacks provided each day and the open class feel allowed me to feel comfortable and at home despite being in a class. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to obtain their PAL.

Stop reading the reviews and just book. What else can I say that wasn't said in the other 1,000+ positive reviews? Taking one of Sam's courses is like learning from your big brother, if your big brother is a large Korean dude who has such a wealth of infantry and artillery experience that he was the go-to guy to teach others in the military.

He can joke around to keep the course interesting, and demonstrate the points no matter your background/experience/engagement. Sam goes above and beyond to give you the best experience possible. The only pity is that there aren't more courses to take!

I just completed a 12-hour non-restricted course at SAMS Training, and I'm blown away by the instructor's (BIG SAM) exceptional teaching style! Despite the long duration, the course flew by incredibly fast due to Big Sam's engaging humor, vast knowledge, and extensive experience.
