Great staff who are very helpful. It's a perfect place to meet with friends or rent the ice for a few hours to enjoy!

Why am I giving one Star less? Well, the drinking water fountain was super filthy, like really filthy. Rest all was fine, and once in there, you can find your way about easily. The facility staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. The cafeteria inside had enough items to choose from, popcorn was tasty, staff very helpful, don't forget to tip please. Ample parking outside, and seats available inside. Except for that dirty drinking water fountain, the arena appeared fine.

State-of-the-Art sports facility with community rooms for teaching and meetings, huge swimming pool, a modern gym with machines and free weights, yoga, fitness and martial arts studios, a sports bar, fast food, lots of ice rinks with warm galleries, sadly-average coffee, OK snacks and lots and lots of parking.

Oh, and there is a library next door, and sports fields for soccer and baseball and racquet-sports, and an outdoor kids play-area, and 100's of nearby gravel-paved running trails, along rivers and valleys, and...

Mountain bike trails through the woods (mostly unofficial, a kid gets pulled out using a stretcher most years), makeshift outdoor-BBQ's and fire pits (likely very non-official), dog-poop bags hanging from branches and hokey tree-forts full of fast food wrappers and beer cans...

Town planning gets crowded, East of these ravine-lands. When so many people take more than they give, Nature and public facilities get run-down and abused.

This place is currently the best the Town of Oakville has ever done. But despite yearly replanting, and other seriously-huge maintenance projects, it might also require more public respect for this place to remain the best.

Beautiful multi use arena with lots of different programs going on from: figure sharing, sledge hockey, to of course hockey. Nicely designed complex that just wowed me the first time walking into this place. Everything is very clean and organized. Lots of amenities nearby to pass the time away in between games. Will look forward to our next game at this location. thanks

Outside the sport complex is an outdoor calisthenics/bodyweight gym. It has tons of equipment/bar set ups for you to use.

You can get pretty creative with the bars, however there are instructional diagrams for the uninitiated. It is almost always empty, or usually 1-3 other people there max. Tons of fun to use, absolutely free. It’s in a relatively quiet area, so it’s quite a peaceful place to workout at. Best of all, you get to be outdoors whilst working out. What more could you ask for?!

For anyone who’s into calisthenics, this is a solid park in Oakville! 🤙🏼

Very nice complex. It is missing a pool. But they are building one now..will be a great complex one day.
Only issue is the veiw areas for all rink. Few good spots. But a lot of hard to see the whole rink in areas.

Do not go to the recreational skate if you plan on having fun. You can’t even skate backwards. I felt like I was stalked by the ice police the entire time. They told me I could only skate forward slowly in a circle. A year ago I was allowed to do small controlled spins and basic movements, I never had any issues with running into people. Now it’s just awful.
