The store is disorganized and messy. A majority of the employees that work there look unhealthy and like they’ve never done any physical activity in their lives. The “supplements” they sell are all garbage and filled with chemicals. The clothing they sell is all cheaply made out of polyester which is terrible for hormone health. Not to mention the employees all seem overly anxious like greeting someone is too out of their comfort zone.

I had a wonderful experience in the Okotoks Sport Check today, and wanted to say thanks to the lovely Sophia working in the shoe department, she went over and above in helping me find the shoes I was looking for and even offered me her employee discount!!
She made my boxing day!! ❤️

Newb cashier is tskimg forever and 2 other employees come and go and don't even have the common sense to open another till to help the other people who habe been waiting forever. Maybe it's time to start training people correctly

Spent 25 minutes walking around to find something that was in stock online. Store is badly organized so I couldn’t find it anywhere. In the entire time I was walking around and around there wasn’t a single person available to ask for help. Ordered on Amazon and for the same price and it was there the next day.

Took a pair of CCM skates for a return within 60 days that were purchased online through Sports Chek. CCM had directed me to take them to a Sports Chek outlet directly when I wrote them about the defect. Spencer, assistant manager in the Okotoks Sports Chek who dealt with me, refused to provide any solution to the problem with the skates, but that's another story.

So I asked for a note from the Sports Chek store that they refused to offer any solution so that I could go back to CCM. Spencer said that he spoke with the manager Michael and they promised to email me some statement to that effect. Email has never been received.

2023-03-20 Update - Adam Woods, a regional manager, contacted me to sort this out. He was fantastic and helped me get the skates exchanged through the Shaganappi store. Excellent experience so upgraded rating but was still disappointed with staff in this Okotoks store.

No floor staff to be found. Waited 10 mins before asking front counter for footwear help. Then waited another 10, left. Waste of time
