There is no “I” in team but there is an “A” for awesome! Can’t say enough about their staff and supplies. Great spot for baseball, hockey, soccer, footwear and their underrated hat rack! They have unique designs of MLB and NHL teams in their hat section. A must hit! Shout out to Josh for always taking care of my player gear requests, Colter for equipment, and Taylor for apparel! I always experience knowledgeable and friendly service! Support a family-owned business! A+++

We bought a $400 baseball bat that needed warranty replacement. As there wasn’t a replacement bat available in store and we were informed the warranty process would take some months to complete, which isn’t great mid-season so we upgraded to a more expensive option and paid the difference. Then this second bat which was $500 ish msrp was also defective and also required replacement. Initially, the Time Out team declined to honour the warranty advising that Rawlings refused. A lot of manufacturers refuse to honour warranties because the supplier doesn’t want to be charged back so puts limits on warranty claims. However, the products don’t seem to be built to last and manufacturers don’t seem to put effort in on the customer service side unless they experience pressure to do so. It’s a shame the retailer gets caught in the middle.

So, I amended my review after the Time Out team found a way to replace my son’s bat after I wrote the initial review. I sincerely appreciate their efforts in advocating for a replacement with Rawlings and will shop at Time Out again when the need arises because they made it right and I prefer to shop with local retailers as much as possible.

I live in Ontario and ordered cleats from this store as they were the only ones that had the style I wanted in stock. Taylor was amazing and ensured I received them within a day using their expedited shipping as I needed them for the weekend!! Great customer service. Will not hesitate to buy from here again.

I wanted to have my son’s inline skates’ rolls replaced. I was in North Vancouver and chose TIME OUT SOURCE FOR SPORTS because they mention on their website Inline Skates Installation and Repair & Inline Skates Parts and Accessories. So I went in an bought 8 rolls for over $80.00 including installation. They couldn’t change one wheels as it was stuck and they did not have the tools, so I agreed to take care of it myself (not requesting for a discount). At home I realised that 2 nuts were missing. I called since we live downtown Vancouver, and they said no problem I should come in and they will fix it for me. When I arrived, I was told that they didn’t have these parts as these were older CCM skates, that is why it was not installed the lasts time (without mentioning when they handed it over to me). I should go to a more specialized store on Kingsway to have it fixed (on my charge). I asked to have the unused wheels returned which they agreed on. But here it comes, they now charged me $25 for the labour, despite knowing that I drove all the way from Downtown to their store, to have something fixed they didn’t do properly in the beginning. Without the charge, I would have not have mention it here but I think other customers need to know that customer service is not their first priority and that they won’t take responsibility for their mistakes.

This is one of the best sports stores I've been in. I've been in many times for various things, from kids and adult soccer cleats, to hockey equipment, and every single time, I and/or my husband received incredible customer service. Every single person that has helped us, has been so friendly and incredibly helpful. Even my 7 year old son at our last visit said "everyone in here is so nice." Thanks for offering such a great customer experience!
