I was there with my friends, the 4 of us. Robbie was our instructor. He is so patient, so informative. There are several time when the gun was really heavy and I need to take a break or take my time. Robbie was encouraging and tells me what could be done to adjust it and make it better. We were there for about 1.5h, super pleasant experience. It was great 1st time experience, we get to tried a variety of different guns and ammunition. Highly recommended!

First time at the range and the staff was extremely helpful and supportive walking us through the process. We had Brandon as a range officer and his attitude and personality were amazing. He was very friendly and helpful through it all and made sure we had an excellent experience. For two people that have never fired a handgun before it was quite an experience and we'll be back!

It was my first time firing a firearm. I am glad I made this esteemed establishment my choice to go to.

The folks here are very kind, polite and courteous and explain every single thing in great detail. Also providing a 2 for 1 card.

Single shooters are required to have a PAL, and according to the rules of their insurance, they welcome two people or a group, where you do not need to have a PAL.

I clicked a lot of photographs to show off on Facebook, especially of their gun cases which had an impressive variety of hand guns, and rifles which were displayed behind the counters. Since fully automatic firearms are not allowed in Canada there were semi automatic rifles available.

We were given a proper briefing before we got to the shooting range, where we were told the rules of handling a firearm. The cleanliness and professionalism was outstanding.

Me and my friend selected a Beretta, a type 81 Chinese AK Platform rifle and a Desert Eagle .50 caliber. Our Range Officer was Mr. Darren who I was told later on our way out was ex Irish Military. Darren was very appreciative of our beginner ability and he was very patient with us, guiding us every step of the way.

After firing the Beretta, I understood why military and other professionals prefer it. Also that it was the choice of weapon when you play as either Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine in the Resident Evil series. I picked the Desert Eagle after being inspired from the Max Payne video games. The Desert Eagle’s report was massive but thank goodness for our instructor who taught us how to handle the firearm properly, that the gun didn’t hit me in the head because of its recoil.

We hit the targets and got to take them home, however, I think it was our diligence as learners that got through to them and we were asked to come back again.

I am certain that for the next time I will try the Smith and Wesson .500 revolver along with a semi automatic rifle and a shotgun. Although, I live in Burnaby and the range is all the way in Port Coquitlam, this is my choice range from now on!

This place is perfect for an amazing group activity. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly, making you feel right at home, which is exactly what you need as a first-timer. There’s a great selection of guns and ammunition to choose from, so you’re covered no matter your interest. Big kudos to Cedric, who guided us through the whole process—he’s a great instructor with a friendly approach and clear instructions, adding a positive vibe to the experience. Now I see why this club has so many members. If you are on the fence—don’t be. Just go and have fun!
